Breath and Vocal Mechanismes Demystifying the mechanics of the vocal instrument for easier, better, and more enjoyable singing! Do you like to sing, but have the inkling that if only you knew some little "trick" you would do better? Are you curious about what on earth your voice has to do with a bicycle pump? Together, we will demystify the singing process, and the vocal mechanism to work towards an experience of singing that's more enjoyable, more comfortable, and above all, more pleasant to listen to :-) Among the subjects covered : - The rudiments of the vocal mechanism - breath, phonation, articulation, amplification - Characteristics of the various voice "modes" or "ranges" - Learning and singing a few songs of varying styles - Singing in a group - Singing as individuals (for those who wish to) Whether you've practiced singing a lot, a little or not at all, in this workshop you will find that : Chanter - c'est magique, mais ce n'est pas sorcier!! * (*Singing - it's magic, but it's not rocket science!!) |
