Group and Online Courses

Any and all JVA topics can be addressed in the context of a group or collective course for either speaking OR singing, as well as being available through video conferencing software such as Skype or iChat, etc.

Group Classes

Group classes can be organized for any number of students...   
  • Small Group - highest degree of individual attention : 2 to 8 participants
  • Medium - individual attention still possible, but less frequent : 9 to 16 participants
  • Large or Lecture style - individual attention reserved for periodic examples only : 16 - 50 + participants.

Auditeur Option - larger classes can also be designed to have a different level of participation (and therefor price) for participants vs. auditors

Classes can be scheduled as :
  • a 1-off introductory course : 90 minutes to 3 hours
  • a 1 day seminar : 5 - 7 hours
  • a custom multi-day seminar : according the requirements and availability of the students
  • a weekly course (90 minutes to 2 hours) set up over a period of 8 - 12 weeks.

Skype & Online Lessons

Modern technology means that we no longer have to be in the same city or even country in order to work together!
With a minimum of equipment, we can set up a audio/visual link in real-time to conduct a lesson almost as if we were in the same room.

Requires :
  • Hi-speed data connection (dsl, cable, etc.)
  • web-cam*
  • audio input source* (i.e. microphone, or internal mic)
  • i-chat* or Skype installed on your computer, and with a functioning account
    (gmail video also possible)


Content, organization and payment are similar to any other private lesson.
